How to make money writing online is probably one of the first thing new writers wonder about. When I first started out I thought it would be as simple as publishing my articles in a well know site and hooking up my Adsense.  As I was waiting for the huge earnings to roll in I begun to realize that the opposite was happening. High volumes of traffic will most likely bring in decent earnings. This is why SEO is so important. Without people finding your content you will be unable to make any money writing online.  Unless you freelance and submit your work for a one time payment, that is.

After learning how to use keywords with SEO I still didn’t see the traffic results I was hoping for. I have heard of the importance of backlinking before but I never really tried it. It seemed to be a tedious task, and honestly it can be. I easily put off backlinking for that reason and a larger one, I had no idea where to even go about backlinking.
